If we want to talk about one of the most popular snacks in Thailand, we have to mention the “Thai Biscuit Stick” or “Kanom Kaa gai.” The main ingredients of this snack are wheat and garlic, which undergo a baking process until they turn brown and crispy. 01 CHARACTER DESIGN
The brand’s name is Daikichi, derived from the Japanese language. The marketing team had a requirement to create a cheerful character, so they decided on a cat to represent Japan. Hence I observed the cat’s behaviors and conveyed them into the illustrations.
02 PACKAGING DESIGN
This product consists of five different flavors: original, spicy, nori seaweed, buttered corn, and bacon. Therefore, I used colors that represent each flavor. Additionally, for the packaging style, I chose the stand up pouch to enable easy display on the shelf.

Process: Flexographic Printing
Material: Aluminium Foil Stand Up Pouch
Technique: Spot UV Varnish
03 POSTER DESIGN
The purpose of this poster was to help consumers remember the brand and the packaging image. To achieve this, I focused on enlarging the packaging images, oversizing the slogan, and chose a vibrant color scheme to make the snack look fun and appetizing.
